Supplement confusion?

So, I'm applying to BU (I dont know about ED or RD yet, I need alot of FA) and it's my first choice.
I am also applying to GWU.
I am doing the supplements for GWU (I already did my BU ones) and GWU has a similar supplement question. Do you think I could just replace Boston references for Washington ones in the BU supp I already wrote? Or would they somehow find out I did that and they would think I didnt put enough effort in?
I don't want that to happen, because BU is my first choice, but I dont know what to write for this GWU essay :(

"Attach an essay of no more than 500 words indicating what most influenced you to apply to The George Washington University (required of all applicants). If you are applying to an accelerated or special program, also explain why you are interested in this program at GW." is the supp for GWU. The BU one is very similar.

they will not find out you did this. This is what most people do. be careful to proof and get all references to the other school out when you revise.

Many colleges have the question, “Why us?” You’re supposed to come up with reasons that reflect your careful consideration of that particular school. It’s not meant to be a generic question. You can copy the short essay, changing names- but are the reasons you’re excited about BU the same as for GW?
