Supplement help!

<p>I'm not quite sure what to write for the "detailing your last 2 summers" essay...</p>

<ol>
<li>Should it be in the style of a vivid story like the Common App essay or simple & explanatory?</li>
<li>Is it only supposed to be about academic/work/community-service things?</li>
<li>If most of my abovementioned-type summer activities are already mentioned on the Common App, should I just use the space to describe them in more depth?</li>

<p>Just think of it as a short-answer question (in other words, not a formal essay), and you can use that space to talk about anything of value that you’ve done over the summer. This can include eye-opening travels, development of an existing hobby of yours, picking up a new instrument, etc. Anything goes, really. And if you just want to explain an activity you’ve already listed, I’m pretty sure that’s acceptable as well.</p>
