I submitted my common application and supplement to Johns Hopkins on the weekend (10/21-also I'm applying ED). The submission of the common application went perfectly fine but when I hit submit on the supplement it said "you have received a technical error." I log out and then log back into the site and it says that both my common app and supplement have been submitted on 10/21. I also received an email of the confirmation of this. Just to make sure however I posted a question on the help forum of the common app site, and received a response stating that it went through. So after this I wasn't to worried about the error I received because everywhere it said I submitted the supplement but this is where the problem arises. On the checklist page my common app says downloaded 10/22 while my supplement still says submitted on 10/21 to Johns Hopkins. Should I be worried that my supplement didn't get submitted correctly? Thanks!

This is an individual question that can be answered on these message boards. You need to pick up the phone and call the Hopkins Admissions Office - 410-516-8171 - to make sure there were no problems.

I called the Hopkins Admission office and they just said they would contact me if there was a problem. But, the status on my supplement still remains submitted not downloaded like my common app, this worries me because the ED deadline is fast approaching. I was under the impression that Johns Hopkins is an All in one institution so therefore is it normal for the two documents to be downloaded at different times even though they were submitted together? I'm probably over reacting but I just hope that my chances aren't reduced due to a silly error.

I also recently sent an email to the application help site at JHU and am awaiting a response. If anyone has submitted the supplement with the common app please let me know if your checklist status has changed to downloaded or has remained at submitted. Thanks!

Not sure why you are still posting questions here ... if you called the Admissions Office and received an answer I am not sure why people on CC can help. If there is a problem you will be contacted as they said when you called.
