Hey guys. I accidentally referred to Notre Dame’s residence halls as “residential halls”. I know it may sound minor but it annoys me. I swear my tour guide referenced them as “residential halls” so that was in my head when I wrote my essays. I even went online to learn about the residence halls and still didn’t even think twice about how I had referred to them in my supplemental essays until I looked this morning. Will this be a big deal or not to the admissions committee? Hope not and that I get an acceptance soon but it’s gonna be bugging me until then.
There is nothing wrong with referring to them as “residential halls” - it’s truly nbd. Please stop stressing over this and good luck to you!
Agree, it is fine. Move on. And stop reading over applications that have already been submitted – there has to be something better you can do with your time!
Honestly, I think you’re fine. It’s not a typo or grammatical error. Don’t stress!
I think it is fine - they probably won’t even notice! I had to read your post twice to figure out what you had done. They are “residential” halls. It is grammatically correct. Deep breath!
Residential halls is fine. That’s not a grammatical error, they could be called that too. Please don’t worry about it
I had to reread your question multiple times to realize what error you were even talking about, so you should be fine
