Is 890 words too much for a supplemental essay? Or does it not matter as long as it gets the point across?

I'll post it or pm it if you want.

Thanks

post it..but hey its done on paper..as long as it isnt boring..i see nothing wrong with it..

I'de say that if it's longer than a page it's too long.

mine was 500 words..

one of the college guidebooks said application process also measures one's ability to follow instructions (for example, "list IN ORDER OF YOUR INTEREST your ec's") and i think that's true for essay. Wash U admission officer said don't go over 10% of the limit....

hmm i doubt that..because many of the individuals who got into harvard wrote like 850 word essays when the common app said to write the most 500 words..

and is there a specified word limit? I didn't see one? I'm not talknig about the common app one, rather the moral dilemma one.

yes the common app did have a word limit which was 250 to 500

no no no, not the common app one, the required Middlebury suppemental essay.

I didn't see a limit for the supp essay.

890 is no problem if the essay flows. Use as many words as you need to get your message across.

Thanks for al lthe help :-). Does anyone know if I can jsut send my supplemental essay in by itself- I;ve already sent in the common-app and pre-app supplement, but not the supplemental essay, and where shoudl I send it to? The Admissinos office?

i wonder if ihave everything..it was just the common app the values essay and the graded essay and like some other sheet right?
