Supply and demand - different professions

Hi!

This fall I will enroll at a college in Sweden. I have always lived here. My dream is to study in USA in the future and maybe to move there. At least I want to move to somewhere else than Sweden. I want to know if there are any certain professions in USA where the prospects to get a job is good. I also want to know what professions where it is really hard to get a job. I mean a profession where the demand will be bigger than the supply. What about economists, IT, accountants etc.?

Maybe I can transfer after two years of studies in Sweden. Or maybe I can get a masters degree there or a PhD. Does it cost money to get a PhD in USA? How do you apply when you want to transfer? Do I need to do ACT or SAT or do I apply solely on my grades from the college here? How much should I get involved in activities vs. concentrate on grades? Is summer jobs important? Can I get in if I only have good grades?
