Supply Chain Management: U. of Arkansas vs. U. of Kansas vs. U of Oklahoma

My son is interested in majoring in SCM. Which school offers the strongest program academically? And which school prepares students the best for career? Thanks!

I can’t give you a real comment on Oklahoma or Kansas, but the U of Ark has a great business school, not bad for a public school, great teachers, job recruiting for your senior year. Beautiful area, if he likes nature, friendly people, and little crime…its pretty safe at all hours, in all parts of the town.

My guess is that Arkansas has the best program. Take a look at the following webpage for the most highly regarded ranking of SCM schools. Newsroom, Announcements and Media Contacts | Gartner;

Arkansas and Kansas are both mentioned for their graduate programs, although neither make the top ten.

It sounds like maybe you live in the South. If so, take a look at University of North Texas, U.Tennessee, and Auburn. All are in the top ten nationwide for undergraduate supply chain management. Michigan State might have the best combination of easy admissions and high rank.
