Supportive Tufts?

I ve heard loads about how supportive the atmosphere in Tufts is and how friendly the students and faculty there are. But no one has virtually given an example of this “supportiveness”. Can anyone tell me what facility/ organization/ program/ unique policy Tufts has that can demonstrate its supportive atmosphere?

Thx!

Can anyone help! I feel I cannot directly address something about Tufts that I like about!

Hi! (Current student at Tufts). Along with the official programs mentioned above, I have felt 100% supported during my first semester at Tufts. Among other things: I took an advising class with the Ex College that helped me learn how to write papers, you can ask the librarians at the desk for help learning to research/using the library, you can receive free tech support and free tutoring, professors are very open to holding office hours (underused resources! Tufts professors are super cool and fun to talk to), everyone is very responsive to email, and for particularly tricky classes (ie. Bio 13) there are recitations where you can ask the professor questions, and study groups that you can sign up for. Socially, I have found the student body here to be overwhelmingly kind and supportive–not competitive at all and always willing to talk about material/hang out and study.

I hope this helps!
