Titrations are fun.

Wow. That's taking it a little into the sphere of painfulness. I said I could DO titrations, but not that I LIKED them..

Titrations make pretty colors.

It was so great, the first titration I did, was just a huge game to my class. We had a lab that included like 6ish titrations... it was completely a contest to see who could get the lightest pink. Complete w/ "See! That so has a pinkish tint!" "No, it doesn't!" "It does too!"

20 kids fighting for the lightest pink... pure bliss.

I don't know you people.

Hahah I ruin all of our labs..our titration ended up bright magenta and the color wasn't going to dissipate for hours..I usually sleep through the lab explanation and then like to pretend I know what I'm doing anyway..

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of reading the directions. There are 3 kids in my group. For the most part, one kid figures out the directions. Then I do the physical part of the lab. Then, the 3rd girl figures out what happened in the lab. Except in the last lab, I had to show both of them what to do, and what meant what. That was fun.

Also, I'm not allowed to hold glass quite often. I've even broken a 10 ml PLASTIC graduated...

Yeah, the two guys I work with figure out what to do after I mess it up once or twice. Then I do the actual lab correctly, we're the last ones done because we usually have to do 2 more trials than everyone else due to errors, and we figure out together what the point of the lab actually was, or we ask the precocious freshmen I sit next to.

Yeah, funny thing is... my grade is a bit higher than the girl that figures stuff out.

The girl I sit next to almost cried because she got a 95 on a test and it brought her grade down to a 98.9%.

Needless to say, she's a freshman and she absolutely idolizes my friend, who's the valedictorian of our class..to the point that when I say my opinion on something, she'll ask if Aforementioned Valedictorian agrees, and then base her own opinion on that..

That's really... weird.

I always suggest new hobbies for her (even got her to come to a colorguard audition), but she likes chemistry too much..

we did that exact same titration lab last week.
unfortunatley, my lab partner and I forgot the indicator and ended up with a VERY pink pink.
