@Slopezvald Thanks!

For the people that asked earlier on:

Ok, so I did the math just for fun…y’all can check my work if I’m wrong. This is an approximation based on the data relased last year that 960 students were offered letters of admission, as well as statistics I found on the internet suggesting a 35% acceptance rate for ED, a 10.7% acceptance rate for RD, and a 14% acceptance rate overall. This, by the way, ignores the distinction between ED I and ED II. But still (assuming rate for ED I = rate for ED II – just to get a rough estimate), setting up a system of equations:

.35 X + .107Y = 960 (X being the ED pool, Y being the RD pool)
.14 (X + Y) = 960

960 = .14X + .14Y
(960 - .14X)/.14 = Y

Substituting our value of Y in:

.35X + ((960-.14X)(.107))/.14 = 960
(.14)(960-.35X) = (.107)(960-.14X)
134.4-.049X = 102.72 - .10498X
31.68 - .049X = -.01498X
31.68 = .03402X

X = approximately 931 ED applicants over ED I and ED II
Factoring in a 35% acceptance rate, that would yield 326 accepted students from ED I and ED II

960 = .14 (931 + Y)
829.66 = .14Y

Y = approximately 5926 regular decision applicants
Factoring in a 10.7% acceptance rate, that would give 634 accepted regular decision applicants

And then 634 + 326 gives 960, so I think that’s right but its kinda late and I’m kinda tired. I just wanted to give the math a shot lol

But that doesn’t take deferred into account, whose extra bites of the apple (probably) factor in ED, ED2 and RD
