Swat International Orientation

My daughter was accepted ED for the class of 2017. We are dual nationals but with permanent residency in the United States. She would like to very much participate in the early orientation for international students which is held during the three days before all the other freshmen arrive. From what we have read this orientation is exclusively for students with foreign addresses. Does anyone know if students with US residency are occasionally allowed to participate?

I would like to jump in as well and ask if it is only foreign address or foreign address and a non US citizen or green card holder. Experience with older S with other schools was that if you have the US passport or green card, you aren’t included in the international orientation.

gvamom, I am almost certain your son will be included. The orientation is for students who are arriving on international flights. The purpose of the three day orientation is to let the kids get familiarized with their surroundings and to prepare for their first semester. I believe several field trips including Philly are planned but most importantly there are multiple planned trips to Target and other stores for the kids to buy their supplies and items for their dorm rooms.
