<p>how easy/ hard is it to switch colleges at cornell? if i apply, i would most likely apply to the school of engineering bc im pretty sure id have the best shot of getting in there and also it sounds like id probably be really into engineering- love physics and chem. but if i start out and engineering isnt really working out, is it easy to switch to say, the college of arts and sciences?</p>
<p>when I visited, the guide said that about 10% of cornell students transfer to another school within the university each year.</p>
<p>Also, she said that the most common school for someone who's already a cornell student to transfer into is human ecology. I just thought that was interesting.</p>
<p>It's very possible to transfer within the University; not a big problem if you plan on transfering to CAS. Something specific like Hotel or Architecture would be difficult.</p>
