OK. I’m in fact the most indecisive person I know. And probably the most idiotic too. In Fact.
So here’s the story:
After much debate, I chose to apply ED to this school. Not going to explain myself here, because that would be much too long of a story. Anyways, I’ve changed my mind, but my mom already signed the ED agreement. I’m wondering if this is sent directly to colleges or…? I haven’t submitted the common app yet though. So I was wondering if I could just go to that dropdown and switch it from ED to RD and that would be the end of that. Or do I have to apply ED now because my mom and my counselor already signed the ED agreement.
just change it, OR delete that school and re-add it. nothing is sent until you pay and send
So even those signatures are not sent? Really?
All you have to do is notify the school that you are applying regular decision instead ED. You don’t have to resubmit anything or cancel anything. It doesn’t matter that the ED agreement was signed and sent. You are not forced to do ED even AFTER you send in the application - so long as you notify them before you receive a decision from them. You are not the first or the last student to apply ED somewhere and then change your mind before the decision-date.

Yep you can just switch it, I did that when I changed my mind about which school to apply ED to
