Switching USC Science Majors??!

Soo being in the time crunch that I was to get in my app before the scholarship deadline, I researched my science majors and thought I chose the right one for me: Biological Sciences. Buuuut, as it goes, the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention fits me soo much better. Any advice on whether or not I should contact admin now, wait til I'm accepted or not and then contact them, ooor just wait until I'm enrolled and then switch early on in the school year??

Same issue as you! Need advice!!

Well, I'm pretty sure the major you put on your app has very little weight in the decision process. My friend who attends USC now went in as a Neuroscience major and is now just in the Honors Program NOT doing neuroscience, so I don't think it's really a big deal.

I actually don't know if I even answered your question.

But anyways, I"m planning as going in as neuroscience, but Im also interested in race studies and anthropology, but I really am not worried, because I don't think they care what you choose.

Thanks jessica. It does help :)

And hey juju, I contacted the director of admissions at Keck about switching majors, and gave my phone number and talked to her for a bit. As soon as she calls me and lets me know whats goin on, I’ll for sure let you know.
