[The Day - Coast Guard offers a second chance | News from southeastern Connecticut]($101,836 in 2014 Bodenwein grants announced)
Oddly Luigi didn’t post a link and commentary on this story. Apparently Coast Guard Admirals are qualified to make these kind of decisions without comment while a Navy Admiral doing so would be cause for a Luigi post?
New London - “A senior cadet at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy asks another student for an answer on a take-home quiz.
It’s a violation of the school’s honor code, serious enough to warrant expulsion for a senior. But does it mean the cadet wouldn’t be a good officer in the Coast Guard?
The current superintendent thinks that, in some cases, it does not.
During Rear Adm. J. Scott Burhoe’s tenure, 10 cadets who were kicked out of the academy for bad behavior have been allowed back in.”

Folks, I don’t want anyone to get in the middle of this LUIGI garbage. I am dam proud of the USCGA and the other 4 SA’s and the great people who attend them. The very minority @ them turn out to be bad seeds and he just tries to exasperate this @ USNA.

I just wanted to expose this guy for what he really is and as you can see he will even lie like he did on #38.

I am sorry to those who are trying to gain Appointments-Nominations,Summer Seminar and are requesting other information about USNA and have to see Luigi’s rant. I can assure you that USCGA people do not share his arrogant hateful attitude toward USNA. He is one of those bad seeds that needS to be exposed for this is the only type of info he will ever post on the USNA forum.

FYI - Thanks to those who PM’d me VI’s latest post, or I never would have seen it.

Yet you stalk every single post I make and rant and rave like a Village Idiot, lol.

If you don’t want to get in the middle, then shut your pie hole and put me on ignore, and stop stalking every post I make. You obviously are obsessed with me.

What makes you a Village Idiot is your insistence that this news is not out there already, and that my posting it here somehow makes me responsible for the bad things.

News Flash - Whether you want to admit it or not, this stuff is happening, it’s not being made up by me.

Rest assured, whenever the NEWS MEDIA reports another scandal, I will post it.

Regardless of your stalking or ranting or your obsession with me. You can continue to stalk me to try to cover up the next scandal by attacking the messenger, I really don’t care what you think.

You need help, why not find a hobby that doesn’t include stalking?

Why would you care about what I don’t post?

Another stalker?

“You must hate the USCGA for such a mean spirited hateful post about them, you obviously are unbalanced and have a hatred because you posted such an article.”

See how ridiculous that sounds, attacking the messenger for posting a legitimate truthful news article?

PS - if you ever find something I posted is untrue, call me out. Post your rebuttal, present your evidence, call me a liar.

Until then, worry about what is happening INSIDE the yard, rather than what news articles are RE-POSTED here.

I’m done with this thread unless any new information is published about these Spice cases.

Continue to talk about me, stalk me, obsess with me, if it helps you.

Oh, btw - be prepared for another post about the mid/Admiral’s son who got wasted on Service Selection night and broke down the doors of a home in Annapolis then hid in the bushes until he was arrested.

His trial (4th degree burglary & Malicious Destruction of Property) is Monday morning.

(I wonder if it will come out in court that Luigi59 was the one who is really responsible for his criminal behavior?)

Or should we just hide it and pretend it didn’t happen?

Again CA, no-one said that you can not post anything. You have lied; your post in #38 clearly shows something that no-one ever said-here it is “I am responsible for every single misdeed, crime, honor violation, and felony committed at USNA. What a tool he is.”
This statement was made only by you noone else.

What happened to your ignore button -another going back on your word.

Your onesided slant will always need to be confronted. Still no denial that you don’t have a hatred for USNA. Very Sad!

Alright CA get back to your sniffing.

Isn’t it great? You simply DO NOT get this kind of stimulating discourse on the other forum website.

Carrying on in the fine manner of Zaphod, '69, and, yes, sometimes even WPig himself [and how is that son of yours doing at the Academy? Second class; is that right?], CA [I love it now that I have been “let in” on the true meaning of the term] loves to post simply for the act of posting . . . not really answering any of the claims against him, not really providing any new information, not really helping applicants, not even really claiming that CGA is, somehow, better than NA . . . .just posting because he has nothing better to do.

What a site! What a country! don’t you love it? [c’mon, where is laxcrewmom when you need her? Guess she has a life after all.]

Took the bait, Bill. You bit.

WP please explain?

Explain? That would require something to explain; there is no explanation.
There is no bait . . . over the years, I have seen dozens of exhanges just like this; sometimes it just not possible to avoid making SOME comment.

Heck it might be interesting to see what percentage of the posts in the NA threads, over the past six years, are attributable [excluding the Great American reposts of sport-related stories] to fewer than a dozen people.

Probably wouldn’t be too hard to figure.

Just a real quick search reveals that just four people:
Zaphod [3790], WPig [3280], USNA69 [1466] and Navy2010 [3559] are responsible for about 20% of teh posts in the NA threads. [That would be just over 12,000 posts for those who attended the CGA divided by 57,000 total posts in the NA threads.]

Even accounting for some postings elsewhere, i fyou assume that only 80% of their posts were in the NA threads, they still account for over 15% of the posts in the threads. AND, that doesn’t even account for the name variations of USNA69, aka MOMBEE and another name that escapes me. [Those would probably close to double the count for '69]

Add in the 6400 posts of Great American [which were mainly sport related articles] and the '69 variations and probably over 20,000 [TWENTY THOUSAND!!!] of the 57,000 posts in the NA threads came from about six, maybe seven, people.

It REALLY is fascinating.

And, of course, I have not even counted the many, many posts from our enlightend Luigi.

NOW is it evident why these threads have taken a tumble in popularitiy

oh okay

Well then, CA probably spent all day in the court house sniffing for some news. I bet he’ll have a great report-well he said he would.

But shhhhhhus all you CA PMers just talk amongst yourselves-that’s what he ordered. Let’s not disturb the Great and Wonderful CA -did I also mention Mysterious…shhhuus we don’t want CA to come off his Ignore Button or lie like he did in #38 shhhhhus

All these years later, including the years-long absence of the folks you name, and you’re STILL complaining, Bill?

Sheesh…

As for “Synthetic Marijuana”, what the hell is that?

I’ve never understood the need to get high, or even drunk. Ever.

Well, no pity. You get busted using that crap, not only should you be tossed for taking drugs but also for the Honor Offense of lying in order to try and get away with it by trying to evade the Whiz Quiz.

Damned idiots.

Bill, after all these seasons! I’m hurt. Confused. Shocked

Some people drink. Some people chase women. Some people smoke synthetic weed. Some people go to law school and do them all, along w/ learning to over… dare is say … Bill! ;)

At least this is a harmless, helpful avocation.Bill, after all these seasons! I’m hurt. Confused. Shocked

Some people drink. Some people chase women. Some people smoke synthetic weed. Some people go to law school and do them all, along w/ learning to over… dare is say … Bill! ;)

At least this is a harmless, helpful avocation.

Here we go,
XYZ_ Wraith comes riding in like Leland Gaunt goes to Castle Rock, stirring the pot
after aforementioned posers done bored this forum into submission.

Madness

GenConsternation, madness yes but great fun. As Bill once said -you won’t find this over on the other forum. USNA69Mombee adds to the fun where is heshe?

WP: Just keeping it honest. You are correct; I’ve always said this site is cheaper than a porn site [although from what I understand, you don’t even really have to pay for it anymore].

GenC has it correct also; XYZ just stirring it up. No complaint on my part, just an observation. WP asked for an explanation and I merely replied there was nothing to explain. As usual, somebody picks up some aspect of what is said and then runs w/ their own comment which sometimes [in fact, frequently] has nothing to do with the original post.

Wow! two correct posts in close proximity . . .

In fact it DOES kind of make you miss the ol’ guy. '69 can you hear us?

Sorry you feel that way. No such intent.

Notice that the bulk of my comment had to do with the original topic. Anyone remember what that was?

I’d never even heard of synthetic marijuana. I’m assuming that the whiz quiz screening tests have already been or will soon be updated accordingly. I still think that the idiots who get caught using this stuff are busted on two counts: drugs and honor.

Man, even if I WANTED to get high, I wouldn’t know where to go to score the stuff, or even if I was getting the real deal instead of oregano or whatever, and yet these guys found the SYNTHETIC stuff, eh? Talk about wasted effort…

Okay; I’ll bite again as WP would say.
Synthetic Marijuan is just that: synthetic marijuana. [sold under the “trade” name of Spice]
The substance is chemically laced with ingredients that replicate the active ingredient in natural marijuana to induce a “high.” The problem is, in many states [probably most states], it is not an illegal substance. [Although legislatures are catching up.] The REAL problem is, as with many of the synthetic stimulants, is that you don’t know who your pharmacist is. So, even thought a material may be called “spice” one does not really know what is in the substance. Risky proposition at best.

Even though the substance may not be illegal acording to state law, my understanding is that DOD has banned it according to regulation. [I don’t know this to be true, but I assume that is how NA is justifying separating the midshipman involved.]

This thread flared up because the original poster has a reocrd of posting nothing but negative stories about the NA.
Furthermore, the headline of hte story states that use is “widespread.” That is simply not true when you consider that fewer than a dozen mids, out of 4000, have been accused. Even if use is expanded to 40, that is still less than 1% and, I think, not justified in being labeled as “widespread.”

My reason for posting statisticaly inferences was not to “complain” but just to point out an interesting tidbit about the posting habits hereon. As mentioned, the creator of this thread has a history of posting nothing but negative stories about NA and rarely, if ever, actually trying to help candidates.

Bill,

Thanks for the insight on Spice. I had heard of Spice, but only in passing, and never with enough detail to link the two when this story broke. Amazing what some people will do to get a kick, eh?

As for the rest, I have no dog in the fight.
