Syracuse and UVA

I am trying to decide between these two programs. I know that Syracuse has a 5 year B.Arch and UVA has a 4 year BS in Architecture. I was wondering what others thought of the two programs, both individually and in comparison with one another. If anyone has gone through either of these two programs please comment.

Thanks.

Syracuse is a great program and is very well rounded. They are ranked 4th and this indicative of their program. The faculty is very nice and cooperative. They do focus heavily in architecture though, with limited free electives. The coursework is very strict (i.e. there is a path that everyone follows with little wiggle room). They just moved into a new building as well. Syracuse is very well received and recognized in the architecture world.

UVA is much warmer than Syracuse though, and Syracuse can get very very cold.

The campus of UVa is inspiring for an architecture student ~ simply beautful! I would find it hard as a high school student to pass up UVa for many reasons.
