<p>So from I hear they do things in waves on a weekly basis. It is Friday and a whole slew of people heard last Friday…anyone think another wave will come this afternoon?</p>

<p>Unfortunately I was not accepted into Whitman school of management. Is there an option to be reevaluated for undecided major, which has lower entry requirements? </p>

<p>If the first wave was March 1 wouldn’t that mean that the second wave is tomorrow?</p>
<p>The Syracuse Admissions twitter stated: “Regular decision notification will be going out in late March! Stay tuned!” on Feb 28th and told a girl that was accepted on that day: “You were part of a small group that was able to be notified today! Come visit us if you get a chance!”</p>
<p>Wow. Late March…this doesn’t leave much time to make travel arrangements for admitted student weekends if she needed another look to decide, since we live very far from the campus. My D has heard from every engineering school she applied to. All acceptances from very highly ranked programs were received in December. This included all merit scholarship money and honors program acceptances. Why does Syracuse take so long to notify? She is losing patience with this process and is being pressured by the other programs to make a decision soon. We are not impressed with this process at Syracuse. She may not wait to hear back from them…there is just too much money and opportunity to consider from her other options. Too bad…she really liked the feel of Syracuse and it’s school spirit. </p>
<p>I talked to an admissions counselor today on the phone and they said that we should know BY the end of March. And from what it looks like, they have already started sending out notifications so I think the next wave should have either been today or is tomorrow. Anyone hear anything today? If so around what time did you get an email?</p>

<p>I got my Syracuse acceptance on March 1st, dual program to the College of Arts and Sciences and Newhouse.</p>
<p>But maybe it has to do with my being an international applicant, i have a friend in Oman who was notified on the same day </p>
