@1820MOM I am calling tomorrow to figure this out, it just doesn’t seem right. I see people with much lower stats getting 25k a year. My act and gap are high and my essay is unique like no other

For the ones that had already heard back and got accepted with scholarship money, were you asked to send additional information for financial aid such as W-2 forms? I have not heard back yet but I’m just curious if that happened to any of you who got in, because that happened to me, and I’m trying to figure out if i will get in or not lol

same situation for me, I sent in the initial forms, but now they’re asking for more documents on my financial aid to do list. I’ve actually been holding it off because theres no point in sending a load of my parents information if I’m just going to get rejected. I talked to my counselor about it and he said that it looks positive for me because it wouldn’t make sense to request that from everyone bc they’re just going to get a bunch of forms they don’t need. But thats just us speculating. Literally just woke up from my nap and still no update on myslice or emails lol
No offices are not closed I know a few people who work at the university (family and friends of family) and they said admission decisions will be in by the 22 so don’t worry

I’m freaking out. I applied to the school of arts and science. I haven’t gotten an update on my slice or an email. I had a really great interview though. Should I be worried? Plus they requested that I fill out missing financial aid info. Would they do that if I was denied?
To everyone who hasn’t heard, good luck. I think it was mostly Newhouse and Falk applicants who heard today. I was lucky enough to get into Newhouse’s Radio, TV, and Film program with a mere 1280 on the SAT (680 on the reading though) and 4.1 GPA (out of 5.3). I am so excited to attend next Fall!
P.S. I think admissions payed extra attention to the essays for Newhouse especially; they need to see your writing capabilities, not just your grades. That definitely helped me a lot.
Seeing a lot of Newhouse acceptances made me really nervous because I know its so competitive to get in but fingers still crossed

Got accepted to Falk Sport Management with 1450 SAT/32 ACT and received the Archbold-Day $25k annual scholarship. I attended Summer College this past Summer for 2 weeks, which I think was a huuuge help. Can’t wait to get back on campus as soon as possible. Good luck to those of you who are still waiting. Hope to see y’all next year. Just remember: Georgetown sucks!

If Syracuse doesn’t work out you will have a back up school. If you have a 3.2 GPA and a 25 on ACT you’ll be fine. good luck guys. Excited for you guys. Oh and I’m in Whitman if anyone has questions! has anyone gotten anything this morning?
Received email from financial aid requesting more documents yesterday morning but no decision and no my slice changes. Should I send in the docs? doesn’t make sense if there was a rejection. Anyone else in same boat?
it says my css and fafsa are incomplete but the websites for both say that they are sent in and complete…?
