t-mobile & emory

how bad is t-mobile service at emory???

not very bad. I use T-mobile and never had a problem…

really…so maybe people are exaggerating!..i cant afford a different service lol

what are you guys talking about? i have tmobile and i get terrible service! i lived in complex last semester and i was in a dead zone half the time. once my 2 year plan is up this december, im switching to sprint. i can’t deal with dropped calls or waiting for my phone to find a signal every time i wanted to use it.

almost everybody i know that has tmobile has complained about it. i asked my friend who was a senior why this only happened to this particular carrier and she said it was due to emory’s frequencies? im not sure

Probably not because when your phone is connected to Wi-Fi only the internet data will go through the Wi-Fi, while phone calls will still go through the 3G, EDGE, or whatever type of wireless network your phone uses.

I haven’t heard of this one before, but I have heard that the bad signal that everyone w/ T-Mobile complains about (I use ATT so I can’t personally comment on it) is due to the lack of a nearby T-Mobile cell tower near Emory’s campus.
