Please don't think I want a chance on all of these schools, I just want some general input on a few. Feel free to leave your two-sense on just a few schools (reaches, middles, safeties).

Objective Information:

GPA: 4.0/5.0 (Weighted)
ACT: 31 ( I just took it again and feel like I did much better)

I've taken all honors classes since my freshman year. I have certainly tried to challenge myself with classes.

AP's:
AP English Language/Composition: 4
AP English Literature: (Taking now-senior year)
AP Macro/Microeconomics: (Taking now-senior year)
AP Statistics: (Taking now-senior year)
AP Environmental Science: (Taking now-senior year)

I am taking Math II and Literature SAT II's in October, I plan to get mid 700's on each (obviously a meaningful prediction).

Subjective Information:

EC's:

-High School Soccer: 2 years Varsity (Co-Captain) (Third in State!), 1 Year JV, 1 Year Freshman A
-High School Track: 2 Years Varsity, 2 Years Sophomore
-I am the elected head of the second-largest social service group at my public high-school. (We travel to grade-schools and discuss drugs and bullying with young kids). This is a HUGE commitment and I am writing one of my essays on this.
-Over 50 hours of Community Service at local soup kitchens and senior homes
-Play Piano privately and have performed at several senior homes.

Essays: Solid (AP English Lang./Comp. and honors U.S. history teachers)

Thanks for reading this exhaustive biography on someone else but hopefully I can get some great feedback!

I am unfamiliar with unweighted GPAs, but I’ll try my best. UMich could be a bit of a reach, especially out of state. Boston College and Wake Forest are also a reach, but being smaller schools than Michigan, if you write a stellar essay you may have a better chance. Villanova should be a safety school for you. Good luck!!

btw, don’t put to much weight on this, because i’m not exactly an expert

Thanks for the response! I obviously plan on using my weighted GPA based on the rigor of courses I’ve taken.
I agree that UMich could be a bit of a reach, and so far I think that’s my number one choice.

Anyone else haha?

Also anyone have any tips on shortening this list (maybe you have some inside information on one of them  or you think they may be out of my area of interest based on the other schools I have listed)

OH I thought you said 4.0 out of 5.0 weighted, not 4.0 unweighted and 5.0 weighted. Let me change my response. I think all of the schools are high match/low reach, but I think you will get into at least two out of your top four. My friend got into Michigan last year with a not perfect GPA and a 30 ACT, so you should be fine. Boston College and Wake Forest are more selective, but you should get into at least one, if not both of them.

Oh no wait I did mean 4.0/5.0 weighted, my unweighted is around 3.5/4.0

haha but thanks for the chance.

Anyone else?
