I was previously placed on the wait list and just got my offer of admission, so forgive me if I seem really uneducated this late in the game. I was admitted into the college of arts and science but I really have my heart set on engineering. Can classes like ES 140(intro to engineering) and CS 103(Matlab) be taken in my first year in A&S to make transferring between the two colleges easier? Or do I have to wait until I am actually in the engineering school?
Thanks

Yes, you can take engineering courses. With very few exceptions, you can any course offered at Vanderbilt, regardless of your major/school.
