Hello! I am taking a gap year and will be going abroad for a whole school year (9 months). The problem is I was planning to take the SAT over the summer but lo and behold they don’t offer tests over the summer!
How can I schedule myself to take the SAT in a foreign country? Is it possible?
Of course it’s possible. Just log into your College Board account and select a test center in whatever country you will be living in. The fee is somewhat higher for international testing, though.
What country will you be in? Some countries, like China or Iran, don’t offer the sat. However most countries where students go for a hs year abroad offer the sat. You may have tobtravel quite a bit though.

Just wanted to update everyone and say that there are definitely testing centers where I’m going! Be sure to look into it on the college board website if you’re looking to take a test internationally!
