Taking tests

So I am thinking about taking the ACT again and 3 SAT subject tests. How many subjects tests can I take in one day?

Up to 3.

Thanks. Are they pretty straight forward or like the SAT?

@Soccerchic24 In theory, I think they’re supposed to be more difficult than the SAT (e.g. Math level II is more advanced than SAT math), but you typically take the subject tests in areas which you are best in, or ones that are required for colleges you’re applying to. I only took two subject tests (Math II and physics).

The SAT 2’s are content driven. The questions are more straight forward than the SAT’s. They are more clearly achievement tests in the areas they claim to assess. The Math Level 2 assesses math knowledge whereas the SAT Math section tests reasoning using numerical questions.

Ohhh. Ok have any of you tooken Math level 1? I am trying to take Math 1, Spanish, and US History.

I only took Math II.

Yeah, lostaccount is right in the fact that the SAT IIs are more content-driven. Whether they are more difficult seems subjective.

My son tells me that the Spanish subject test has a very harsh curve because many kids taking it grow up speaking Spanish at home. Most schools only require two subject tests but you can pick and choose which ones to send them (for an extra fee). My kids took them in June of their Junior year after all their AP exams were done. One son also took Chemistry in June of Sophomore year right after taking the course (his grades were high enough that his teacher recommended taking it). Good luck!

Oh forreal??
