Taking the SAT After College Decisions for Employers and Bragging Rights

Before I got accepted/rejected into colleges, I had a 2230. I am now thinking about taking the SAT again during/before I enter college next year because I heard employers like Google actually ask for SAT scores (ridiculous, but true). Another reason I am thinking about taking it is because it was my high school goal to get a 2300+. Obviously I don't feel pretty good knowing I'm going to leave high school with uncompleted goals. So if I do happen to get a 2300+, it would probably have psychological benefits as I would feel better about my intelligence. In the off chance that I attempt to transfer, the SAT would help with that too. What do you guys think about this? Should I retake the SAT, even though I have already received my decisions from colleges?

Why not?

As long as you don’t obsess and start studying for it obsessively, one Saturday isn’t going to harm your productivity in the other facets of your life.

If you want to, then go for it.

I was planning on doing the same thing with subject tests. :D

After decisions, I plan on taking the Bio/Spanish subject test not for any application or resume but to test my knowledge and ascertain my intelligence and achievement. (The AP test doesn’t count… AP tests are a joke.)

And to each who would criticize me and Ingrate for “wasting money.”

To each his or her own right?

Instead of a movie ticket, we’ll be taking a test. Each item satisfying to the buyer.
