The colleges I’m looking at (Binghamton University and Cornell) both have an optional talent application. This year I was selected as the first chair tenor saxophone in the All-National concert band, which I can put in my regular application. But I’m also a street photographer and create portfolios in school, and there isn’t a place to showcase that in my regular application. My question is, do I focus on the All-Nationals and submit a recording or do I let that speak for itself and submit a photography application to show a larger variety of “talent”?
