I could have dunked when I was much shorter

I'm average? 6'0 and "smart"?

tall people may have certain advantages over shorter people but they are not in any way is smarter. No wait, they may "feel" like they are smart and superior because of their height.
Btw, true or false? People with wavy or curly hair are smarter.

not to be racist or anything, but i have a feeling this has something to do with a particular race with a very large population that tends to be short and not so smart...not gonna mention the name

Not to be racist, eh?

If anyone thinks they are smart because they are tall...well lets just say they aren't that smart. Anecdotal evidence is meaningless - at best.

BUT I HAVE A STUDY TO BACK IT UP!!!1

well i'm about 5 ft 1 inch and I've always been the top of the class

"i'd rather be small and smart than big and dumb" is a quote from that video with the whales, Samson & Sally. i try to live by it

still, i'd love to be a little taller... according to my myspace i'm 8'11" hehe

When I think of smart, wallstreet, highclass business people, I think of tall men and tall women in suits.
When I imagine couch potatoes, I think of short, bald, beerbelly'd men.

It's the media!!

alot of short and fat people are famous and successful. Like Danny Devito the actor; a proffesion dependant entirely on outside apperance, and he has excelled in that proffesion. He's short and fat and bald but he's still filthy rich ad really famous. He was also in that movie called "Other people's Money" I think you've all seen it. Anyway, my point is that not all rich people are tall and not all tall people are rich.

Short people - the new URM.

don't take this the wrong way, but, I've known and seen alllot of Asians, and I've noticed that a fully grown woman (or man) is usually alot shorter than me. I've only seen like 2 or 3 tall Asians.

You're only 5'7" and you claim that you're a tall Asian? Do you live with a bunch of North Korean refugees or something? Koreans and Chinese are the predominant (Eastern) Asians where I live, and they average around 5'9" to 5'10". Go to Seoul or Shanghai, and if you expect to tower over everybody, don't.

Yay! I'm 6 feet! Woo! That means I'm t3h sm@rt!

At my high school, it's the opposite... If you were to line up my graduating class in order or ranking, it would look similar to having them stand in order of their height....

hey nbachris2788

I'm not Asian. I said that I see and know alot of Asians.

My mistake then. Either way, you must live amongst some really deprived people or something if being 5'7" makes you really tall.

I never called myself tall. I think I'm short, which is exactly my point: I'm really short, but most fully grown asians I know are even shorter.

I'm kinda tall: 5'8" and I guess I'm smartish... but personally I don't think that the study is legit... I mean who cares if tall people are smarter... I mean it is a genetic trait... you can't do anything to make yourself taller, but you can study to make yourself smarter (or at least I hope :p).

Ofcourse that things bogus. But hey it made my day yesterday when i saw.

^lol..........
