I got an interview! I’m so sorry to everyone who didn’t make this round, you’re clearly all super cultured and well-spoken and I hope all goes well in the future. To all the finalists, good luck and I hope to see you this summer! 
I just received an email to schedule my interview and a wave of anxiety just overcame me! I’m so nervous!
@philae I don’t know who to ask for a recommendation from! I can’t seem to decide which teacher knows me best. How heavily do you think the recommendation will be weighted in the final decision?
@DJ01 I’m not sure, but you should make a decision soon! The recommendation is due April 1st. I’m sure any decision you make will turn out well.
I just asked my g&t counselor based on how close we are. I just thought of the person I think would be the most able to talk about me in personal terms. @philae
& I just got my interview email last night!! Exciting but nerve wracking. It’s going to be held over Google Hangouts–does anyone else have to have theirs online?

I had my interview about two hours ago, and I think it went pretty well. Now the wait until May. Hoping for the best and good luck to the rest of you!! [-O<
@philae I just live in Wisconsin, but I guess there aren’t any Telluride alumni here ¯_(ツ)_/¯. I think mine is going to be this week so the date just keeps getting closer!
@DJ01 Glad to hear it went well! Did you think it was a challenge or was it more laidback?
@futuredoctoryang Definitely both. They asked some pretty difficult questions, but we laughed and made jokes too!
Just had my interview! Tough questions but it felt really personalized, so it wasn’t anything I couldn’t answer. Now the dreaded wait…

I’m really conflicted about TASS and how late the results come out: I’ve applied and been accepted into some other “backup” summer programs, and they are really fantastic places I won’t be able to attend if I wait for the TASS results to come out: by that time, I won’t be able to confirm attendance.
Is anyone else in the same boat? How have you guys dealt with this?
I did my interview yesterday guys so hit me up if you want to know what kind of questions does the interviewer says.
Do you know when results come out?
@crxwgirl From what I know in last year’s TASS forum, before May.
@philae I’m kind of in the same situation right now; however, the program I got into is through my school, so I’m working with my teachers to keep my spot while I wait for TASS.
@crxwgirl My interviewer said by mid-May at the latest.
How am I supposed to wait until mid-May?! :’(
@crxwgirl I think it was May 3rd last year, which makes things (slightly) better? idk man this is all so stressful
