TCNJ vs. Purdue-WL vs. UGA vs. Clemson vs. UCF vs. SUNY vs. UIUC vs. GA Tech vs. Stevens for Econ!

This is a huge list for comparing Economics programs, but please narrow this down to at least 5 programs. I’m leaning towards Purdue, GA Tech (I know they’re STEM schools, but they are both in the top 50ish Business/Econ programs in the world - according to Times Higher Ed Rankings), and Clemson. I know I shouldn’t be listening to rankings, but which of these colleges produce the best Econ grads w/ the highest paying jobs, etc? I would just like to know which is my best bet.

PS, although SUNYs (Oneonta, Fredonia and Plattsburgh, to be precise) are low-cost for me, they don’t seem to attract the greatest jobs in NY. I also don’t want to go to Stern because I know I can get a similar-quality education at lower cost (I love NYU though). Tuiton (up-till 50-60k) isn’t my no. 1 priority too.

See where you get in. See what is affordable. Then you can compare the viable options.

If you think you have a shot to get into GA Tech, Purdue, and Stern, why aren’t you also applying to SUNY universities such as Binghamton, Albany, Buffalo?

Is GA Tech, Purdue-Krannert or UGA Econ better?

Why not IU Kelley?

They have Economic Consulting. It isn’t the same as Econ or Business Econ. I agree that it is an excellent school, but it just doesn’t offer the kind of econ I want. Besides, I don’t want a BSBA with a concentration in Economics. I want a BBA, BA or BS in Economics.
