Teacher Recommendation

So my Junior (H, Spanish 4) and now Senior year (AP Spanish Language) Spanish teacher is a graduate of Yale University. Over the past year, we have become close enough that I think she can write me a very good recommendation letter. I had also been considering applying to Yale too prior to Junior year. My question is: Is it a benefit to have an alumni as a teacher from Yale write me a letter of recommendation that admissions at Yale will read? I plan on asking her for a letter even if it isn’t necessarily a benefit, I’m just curious if this possibly could be. Thanks in advance.

I don’t think it will really matter.

It doesn’t matter. As long as the quality of the recommendation is good, it doesn’t matter WHO writes it.

Her Yale diploma is HER accomplishment, not yours. It shouldn’t matter.
