So I'm currently a senior, and planning to apply to Georgetown, among other colleges, RD, but Georgetown is the main problem at the moment. It requires a math or science teacher rec if you plan to go into a math/science field, which I do. I have two teacher recs already, from a English and History teacher.

I know getting a rec from your intended major subject is recommended just in general, but here's the thing. Two of my math teachers so far were bad teachers, and one of them hated my whole class. Freshman year, my teacher was ok but didn't really know me and freshman year recs aren't a good idea anyway. Same with freshman year science, and I didn't like my junior year science teacher (he didn't know me either...)

So now I'm taking AP Bio and AP Chem, and I think I have two options. I can ask my bio teacher in December, and even though this year's the first time I have had her, it will have been 3.5 + months, I'm doing really well in her class, and I think she likes me. Or I can ask my AP Chem teacher, who I had sophomore year, but she's kind of absentminded and my dad doesn't think she'll necessarily write the best rec although she's known me longer.

Basically, I need a rec from one of them, and I should ask by first week of December. Who should I ask? I honestly don't know.
