Do teachers only have access to the released AP exams that can easily be found online, or do they have access to all past AP exams?

Teachers have access to all past released AP exams (only for a particular subject), such as the 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2013 exams. They even have the official Practice Exam (from the CB’s Course Audit page) for that particular subject. All those exams that were just mentioned are meant to be inaccessible for students. However, some teachers still break the rules and upload those exams onto their teacher sites and what not.

If you really want the official practice exams for over half of the subjects, here is a very neat trick I found a while ago:

When Googling, put a quotation around “this ap european history practice exam is provided by the college board” from the Google search bar, and just replace the subject “european history” with any other subject you want. Then, find a .pdf file from the search results, and you should receive access to the secret official practice exam for the particular subject.

It’s extremely neat, and you’ll be able to practice many MC questions rather than just FRQs. But remember, it will only work for CERTAIN subjects. It will not work for the language exams except Spanish Language & Culture (based on when I tried searching).

Hope any of this helps you :)

Thanks man. Are you 100% sure that teachers only have access to the “released” ones? Because I have a test coming up soon that is made purely out of past AP exam questions, and I have the questions and answers to every “released” test (there are only 5). Does this mean that I have basically every question possible for the test, considering our teacher only used past ap exams?

Because I really don’t want to study the “released” one, and find out there’s a whole other pool of AP exams our teacher is pulling from. Thank you so much

What subject(s) are you taking?

Ap US history

I guess you’re fine based on the number of past exams you have…

Cool thanks

@SATManiac98 I love you so much. I’ve always tried finding the “perfect” search term on google, but could never find it. You should be crowned king of google searches haha.
