I'm actually pretty glad he said it, because most of the class time is devoted to discussion about various current events and it's good to know where he stands.

My sociology teacher implies that he's unbiased, but he definitely has a liberal slant. It's annoying as hell.

Some of my teachers try to proselytize a lot, but nothing interferes with grading (maybe subconscious bias, well, that can involve a host of other factors).

My AP Government teacher is very, very liberal. But she never actually says it. It's a joke amongst AP students at my school. It affects her grading- she's been known to give zeros to Republicans. It's fine for me because I'm liberal, but I feel bad for my conservative friends. One of my other teachers hates her because of this and talks trash about her. It's kind of entertaining.

HOLY ING *, my apush teacher was a turbo liberal. We would often talk about politics in his class, and he always was super liberal. The problem though was that it effected his grading. I took his class one year ago, and we were learning about the civil war just before the primary season started winding up. Our civil war test was a take home test, 80 multiple choice questions and an essay. Our essay prompt: "how does * Barack Obama** remind you of ** Abraham lincoln**". WTH.

^^haha, that essay topic is so weird and kind of unfair...

our ap econ teacher is supposedly really conservative. oh yeah, and he hates freshman & loves seniors, or something, haha...

our ap ush 1 & 2 teachers [they're husband & wife and everyone loves them : )] are pretty liberal and spend a lot of time making jokes, esp. this year [2] there was a LOT of anti-palin spews (& some anti-bush/mccain, of course), which is perfectly fine by me ;) haha, this happened with my ap bio teacher too. all awesome teachers tho, and it would never affect grading, i don't think...
