Teachers who don't give As -- do admissions really see that?

I would definitely not take any classes they were teaching.

Are you exaggerating though? They’ve never given an A to a student before?! That’s hard to believe. If that’s the case, they should be fired. Their grading system is obviously flawed.

first of all… if they never ever give A’s, something’s wrong with them. some reports you hear, from other kids especially, can be greatly exaggerated…

Also. One or two B’s will not kill you. Especially if you learn more in that class than from other teachers (and in my experience, the “tough teachers” are often the best- theyre the ones that expect your best, and know you can learn the material better than other teachers might expect you to…)

haha literally. i asked the counselors for a grade report of the grade distribution of all courses.

and i know that those are the only teachers teaching those courses.

some A-s. no As.

oh yea, and there has been 1 A sometime bcak. but that was like a senior who had another year of one of those teachers.

you know how teachers like to give higher grades the second year they have a student an A to show that they have improved becuase or their teaching skills?

What, you mean like teachers that have TOUGH (and I mean , TOUGH) classes??? If that’s the case, don’t worry. It’ll definitely be noticed if you get good SAT II or AP scores… Admission officers see all kinds of applications and they’ll definitely be aware of such cases…

So yeah, don’t worry. I say take their classes and do well, and hopefully it’ll all be for the best…

not that the teachers aren’t tough.

actually they are pretty chilll…

like they help and everything. BUT they just never give As.

like have i mentioned? they use model papers and ppl ask them and they’re like oh its A-.

one of them is REALLY nice and funny. siiigh… but evil grader.

this would suck, because id oubt a college could see that.
