Anything is helpful. Is it really hard to get into if i'm a US student?

Very cold in winter. Montreal has amazingly beautiful women. Excellent international reputation. Not super-hard to get into.

Excellent school, great location, great social scene. My dad had an office on Sherbrooke. Not too far from the school. Very intellectual atmosphere. Oh and Montreal has AMAZING food.

Its alot tougher for Americans sadly, especially in light of the fact that some of their most competitive programs (for americans) are not very strong in Canada (Sciences). Again though, the school has a great rep in the states (a tad overrated if you speak to most Canadians) but if you want to return home theres no better option for you...Id take McGill over Toronto any day.

Great uni in a great town, but McGill doesn't pamper its student. If you need help, you have to seek it yourself, and the best way to find it is to ask other students (whatever your need may be). And it's not as cold as people say (then again, my hometown is 5 hours up north from Montreal, so I may be biased, and I'll take colder weather over "wintry mix" weather any day). McGill is also a great place if you intend to do grad school in the US.

try UK where youngboy keeps it fresh

For some more information, you might want to take a look at the McGill section on CC. One thread has a link to McGill's web page on minimum test scores.

From what I can tell, it's a fine school in a fabulous city. Classes start out large and then go down to good sizes, with professors who are engaging and involving.
