Tell me if you think this plan will work

<p>I am considering moving to California, attending a community/technical college for two years and then transferring to one of the UC schools. However, I am currently a Wisconsin resident. Will I be considered a citizen after living in CA for two years and attending tech school? Or will they still consider me a WI resident. I would only do this if I could qualify for California in state tuition at a UC school after two years. Thanks for the help. </p>

<p>Probably not. The UC system has pretty specific requirements for residency. Read all you can handle here:
