I’m on my 4th college bound teen and I agree with you: don’t get caught up in dorms. It’s just a right of passage, and whether they are “good” or “bad” (new or old, AC or not, a triple or double or single), their main purpose is to be close to/on campus and to meet people. And that year goes by fast.
