tell me what you think: online chess using ap cs gridworld

hi, im now a college freshman, but last year i just had an incidental idea of creating a java applet that allows ppl to play chess, and thought that gridworld would make it more intuitive than building everything from scratch.

after hours of programming, i created a website that packs this applet, which is contained in my university servers. (2 servers however: one that hosts the java class files and another that is called the application server, which requires a realtime connetion to a remote java application running at the same server. also my computer right now is another server, which must stay on in order to invoke the application server and keep it alive.

right now, its empty, but hopefully, once it gets indexed, it should have a small handful of people. you guys are free to play games (no human v. computer implementation yet though). I do realize that a chess applet is not something new..but hey, whats something better to do than nothing all summer?
