<p>Submitted. So sad that I put off critical analysis to the end and couldn’t do justice to my favorite book. Chance of getting in? -_- Sigh. Writing the essays was interesting, though. I enjoyed and appreciated the prompts, even if there’s 0.00000001% of getting an interview. Made me think about who I am and what’s important to me…as they’re probably intended to.

<p>'Course, I never actually mentioned any of this to my parents, so who knows what’ll happen if it turns out I actually have a shot at this. </p>
<p>“Hey mom, I kind of secretly applied to this 6-week summer program that only an idiot or someone with the worst parents ever would decide not to attend if he gets accepted. It’ll cost $X000 to actually get to the school, though. kthxbai.”</p>

<p>This might sound ludicrous, but applying to TASP has been the single most intense experience I’ve ever undergone. Even though I’d never done one before and didn’t even know what it was, I left the critnal until tonight, so I found myself writing some nonsensical garbage about some Auden poem as I watched the clock tick the past hour. At 11:56 PM, I finished it. I then edited two of my other essays at the speed of light and submitted the application. I probably screwed the whole app up as the critnal was shait. But hey, better than not applying at all right?</p>
<p>Anyways, if I don’t get in, at least I will have learnt a lesson in procrastination as well as a bit about how to write a critical analysis? Not too reassuring. Oh well, whatevs, I’ll just wash down my pain and bitterness with some good ole Jack.</p>
<p>PS: I would LOOOOVE to swap essays with someone. Get a feel of my inadequacy, y’know?</p>
<p>As I was submitting, the application software spazzed because Lövborg has an ö in it and I’m doing this on my iPad. I was so glad I decided to attempt the submit at 11:45 and not later. That warning email from Telluride was the truth!</p>
