My daughter applied regular decision at the end of November. She went to Portfolio Day in NYC (mid-November) and was admitted to Tyler School of Art at her interview/portfolio review there, pending acceptance to Temple. Stats: Weighted GPA 3.728 ACT 30 with writing (ACT writing score 11 out of 12). Out of state applicant. She already has 4 college credits from summer programs, plans to take 3 AP exams, great essay, good extra curriculars, leadership including founding a SAGA (sexuality and gender acceptance) club at her school, National Art Honor Society and multiple art awards. Hoping she gets in. Fingers crossed.
I got admitted to Temple but the letter says nothing about any scholarships or money they are giving me, should I be concerned? I pretty sure I qualify for at least some money but does the absence of that mean I didn’t get anything?I got admitted to Temple but the letter says nothing about any scholarships or money they are giving me, should I be concerned? My daughter was accepted early action. A few weeks later was notified that she got into the honors program. She still has not heard about any scholarship offers. Temple is her first choice but we can’t do it without a scholarship. Hoping for a good amount.
@mperrin it would be very weird to get into honors with no scholarship. Are you sure she clicked the acceptance letter link on the portal, not just look at the portal. It would be in the letter link.
@mperrin I recall the scholarship letter came after my D was accepted. But she applied in January, so maybe they wait to send scholarship money out after regular applications are mostly in? Temple is a great school! Good luck!
I am having the same exact issue. I got in but it says nothing about scholarship and I know I qualify
You didn’t get one if it wasn’t in the acceptance letter. They’re giving out less money this year. Most people that knew they qualified, did not.
