Hello, I will be going to Purdue this fall as an exploratory transfer student but I have heard such horror stories about the difficulty. Especially since I want to switch into engineering and I need a 3.2. I am very nervous. I do not know what I will do if I cannot achieve that GPA.
Personally I haven’t heard horror stories about exploratory studies. The engineering program, however, is known for being difficult. If you are worried about succeeding in exploratory studies, I would warn you that it only gets harder from there. On the flipside, don’t psych yourself out of something you may be perfectly capable of doing. All you can do is your best. Study hard, and don’t be afraid to ask professors for help or get tutors.
