I do not know if this is a common thing with many schools, but our school makes us take some of our ap tests on desks that are WAY too small. For the bigger tests they set us up in the auditorium where we have those desks that pull out from the arm rest. These desks are basically the size of 1.25 pages of paper and are way inadequate especially if one is doing a dbq.
Does college board have any protections against this practice?
Think of it as practice for college, where you get the little half-desks that flip up from under the chair.
@Cubby208 I have had final exams in college on those small desks. But usually they put students in rooms with bigger desks if they can.
Well I had a test in the same room today. I measured it assuming the booklet is about 8.5 x 11, I also cross checked using my calculator id card and pencils (that i measured after the test).
The desk is 11.5x12ish. Not to mention that it has one rounded corner with a radius of about 5in that is cut out.
Im going to tell my school that this is not ok, and hope for the best.
