Test Scores Confusion...

Hi everyone,

So I applied to Vanderbilt Regular Decision, and I sent my scores sometime in mid-December (to all my colleges) electronically through the College Board website. I have been reading through this thread and I noticed that Vanderbilt apparently requires test scores to be sent via postal mail..? I know for a fact that I have not mailed Vanderbilt any of my scores, but I have also not received an email from them that anything is missing. In fact, they sent me an email on Feb 3rd saying that my application is "complete and ready for review." Should I just ignore this whole thing then, or should I still send paper reports of my scores to them in the mail? Thanks for any help!

Hmmm. I’m not sure what you’re reading or what it means, specifically, but if you ordered you SAT scores to be sent to Vanderbilt directly from College Board, you are fine. Nothing else to worry about. I am positive.

Ok, sounds good. Thanks!

pretty sure you are mistaken. Test scores are sent electronically and if Vandy says your application elements are all there, they are there. It is possible you were reading an old thread. Things change rapidly.

Son number one applied to Vandy six years ago and did all his applications on paper printed at home and mailed in big fat envelopes.

On CC you can come across threads that started in 2004 and not realize it if the thread is “revived” and has additional comments in 2011.

College Board will send scores via mail if the the college specifically requests; the applicant isn’t the one who makes the decision.
