Rec's: Great, Great, Mediocre
[/quote]
Applied to:
Harvard, Yale (EA), Princeton, Stanford, Wharton UPENN, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Duke, UC Berkeley, UC LA, UC SD, UC Irvine, UC Riverside... the full spectrum.

ooh yay! i cube too. just as a hobby tho, altho i do know people who also went to the championships. what sorts do you do? i usually stick with regular 4x4's.

poo. most of those schools are hard to determine, such a crapshoot...but i suppose i can guess anyway:

In at:
Cornell, JHU, Duke, Wharton, Bunches of UCs

If you had a mediocre essay, you probably didn't get into Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, or Wharton. Might have gotten in to Yale EA, but since nothing there is truly fascinating or stellar, and good grades can only take you so far, I'm going to say deferred then waitlisted.

You probably were in at John Hopkins and Cornell, though it isn't garuanteed. Duke too.

And you definitely got into all of the UC's...no doubt about that one. You most certainly got into Riverside, since you are in the top 5% of your class.

Hmm, personally, I would say that he could get into HYPS...but it depends on how far he went in Siemens Westinghouse. Also, I believe he said his essays were "mediocre"?

I dunno, I guess we'll find out where he got in when he posts the answers! :D
