Tewksbury

Is it as bad as people say? I was recently assigned a room there, what should I expect?

As far as I know, it’s not as bad as people say. It seems that most of the distaste for Tewks comes from kids who don’t/haven’t lived there or didn’t enjoy the kinds of kids who are there.

People party a lot there, but that’s to be expected in most dorms. It might be a bit more extreme because of its reputation (thus, kids try to live up to it), but other than that, almost everyone I know who lived there either didn’t mind it or loved it.

It’s conveniently located near the New and Old Toasters, the Campus Center, the Academic Buildings, the community gardens (and bonfire area), and not too far from Blithewood or the Gym. The only thing that’s far away is North Campus, which has Cruger Village (another mostly freshmen living area), Old/New Robbins, and Manor, which hosts parties a few times a month. If distance is an issue, the shuttle is there to be used, even around campus.
