<p>This thread is meant to serve as a way of thanking the International Student thread of CC and all its denizens. Today I received an email notifying me of acceptance to Bates College, and am most certain that come this fall, that's where I'll be. This thread holds a lot of special memories for me, and though I haven't been posting here for a quite a while, I do check up on it regularly (I still remember the day when The Indian Thread was only a single page). The thread has helped me in times of despair, has given me helpful reassurances when everyhthing seemed lost, and has celebrated with me in time of joy (like this one). I can only hope that I may return he favour some day.
