Is that single-spaced or double spaced?

what one page limit?

A good rule of thumb is 500 words -- which is about one page dbl spaced

Graffiti - on the common application essays it asks you to write essays but says to keep them 1 page max, and I dunno if they mean double spaced or single space.

1 page single, although you'll probably get 700+ words with that rather than 500.

Is there any advantage/disadvantage to this?

once you go past one page, you aren't making the point, if it takes longer than a page you need to clean up your writing

and they have to set a limit, or they will get pages, znd one page is enough

single space 1 pg

I think someone said 650 words = unofficial cut-off.

Alright, thanks for all the help guys :D

One page single spaced...

Font? Font size? Margins?

Frankly, you should double check with the schools to which your applying. Some state that they "strongly encourage" essays not to go beyond 500.
