Hey guys,

I only got a 29, can i join? Maybe I can be an honorary member since I'm cooler than all the kids at the school that did better than me on the ACT.

30 is such a bad score, why even make a club for it?

33 is where it starts to get decent, someone make a 33+ club.

30 is such a bad score

Did you bother to check the statistics?

Nah, he's too obsessed with himself to have time for that.

Well, 30 may not be terrific by your standards, but that's no reason to put down people who are very pleased with their 30s. That's the 97th percentile. It's not exactly a "bad" score. Neither is a 25, for that matter. Having a 33+ isn't everything in life. In 2 years whether you got a 30 or a 33 will make absolutely no difference anyway.

so? it matters now, to me and to you. that's why you clicked on this thread.

you're right though, in two years i'll be too busy bragging about some other academic achievements (4.0 GPA, highest grades in classes, who knows?) to care about my 34.
