Prior to WWI, Woodrow Wilson ordered US troops to move into Mexico and fought with troops under which Mexican dictator?

The economist was Babson.

I'm not sure what the question above means. If its asking who US fought against it was Victoriano Huerta. If its who did the US fight along side it was Carranza.

What was the final significant German victory in WWII, where Hitler made his final push?

Wasn't it Pancho Villa?

sorry, shouldve worded it different. Pancho Villa crossed the border, killed some Americans and ran. Military followed him into Mexico but he got away, Carranza got angry and his troops met the Americans and they fought, killed a few, then Wilson was like 'forget it, i can't do this and deal with the Nazis too'. Sorry, haha, i like to review my history as if i'm involved

It was at the Battle of the Bulge.

Q: What impact did slavery have on the southern value system?:

Wealthy planters bought them to work on their plantations and worked them hard to increase production. However, they did not beat them to a bloody pulp every day because slaves were sort of an investment and not very cheap. Hope that answered it.

Why did so many poor southerners fought for the South?

because they were forced to by the Confederate government

I think it's because they 1.) believed that one day, they, too, could rise up in the social hierarchy and become a plantation owner, and 2.) knew that as a social class, they were looked upon as better people compared to the slaves (class division), and wanted to defend slavery to keep themselves from being at the bottom of the pyramid.

Name one aspect of FDR's New Plan.

What book did Betty Friedan write in 1963 and what was it about? Why is it significant to the study of U.S. History?

Who was Huey Long? How many times was his assassin shot?

Huey Long was a radical Louisiana Governor in the early 20th century who opposed Roosevelt and the New Deal. I don't know the second part...

Edit :

Oops, What was the Comstock Lode?

As Huey Long walked through the halls of his new Baton Rouge governor's mansion with his usual cast of bodyguards accompanying him, a lone assassin emerged from the dark behind a large pillar and shot the Governor Huey Long. The bodyguards proceeded to shoot the assassin 61 times...had to make sure he was dead after all

his bodyguards shot the assassin 61 times. for some reason our apus teacher mentioned that like 4 times last week...yeah. it was funny. in the handout it was like: "long's bodyguards subsequently shot Weiss [the assassin] 61 times. he died."

oh, comstock lode was the silver deposit found under virgina city, nevada.
