I can't even remember what the admission requirements to the average club are.

Hepster, do you refer back to post 1 every time someone posts their "qualifications"?

SAT: well ive only taken the PSAT and thats "unmentionable" even for this club...
and i have like 3-4 classes currently w/ a B in it but i have a 98 average in my math class currently(YAY!!) probably the best grade ive ever gotten in math i did poorly in math freshman yr...
2.9-3.0(average..it would be higher but i bombed freshman yr...its funny i have so many slackers in my grade there all speds and ive done so well sincei started my grade i think i will have i high rank ne way)

Well I was accepted into Auburn University. Waiting on the rest.
It's a respectable school, so I'm happy with being average.

"Since those "Average" here in CC are very underepresented and oppressed by the huge outburst population of overachievers in this forum, Hepstar dedicated this thread in for those who feel threatened by those overachievers and want to find a niche to feel comfortable.

am i right, hepstar?"

Yeah, that sounds about right. It works for me. I just felt compelled to do something after seeing the "Uber Exclusive 2300 Club." I thought of calling this club the "normal" people club, but then I would have gotten all sorts of complaints from 2200+ SAT people with 4.3 GPAs on 4.0 scales saying that "we're normal too." I didn't want to deal with that aggravation, so I chose the name "average" instead.

"Hepster, do you refer back to post 1 every time someone posts their "qualifications"?"

Not as much anymore. If a person is in the ballpark w/the qualifications, he/she will probably get in. If someone is a few points over 2100 on the SAT but has a slew of Bs and failed tests, I'll probably let him/her in.

Lesmizzie, you have to reveal your PSAT score in order to be considered for membership. As bad as you may think your scores may be, this is the "average" people club, the ideal place to reveal them. None of us are the typical CC overachievers. Just reveal your PSAT score and as long as it is below 210, you're in.

I know that the UCs don't post admissions decisions until later, but I'm interested in how many of us "average" people get in to one or more of the UCs!

well, I took the psat in grade 10 but never had the chance to find out my score

w00t I'm in. I finally got around to checking out my PSAT score and I got a 202. (Critical Reading -- 67, Math -- 66, Writing -- 69)

does the average club have a member limit?

"does the average club have a member limit?"

Nope. As long as there are more "average" people, we'll keep taking them.

I got into my 3rd college, Pace University, in NYC. I got into the Honors College there as well. Three down, 4 to go.

But doesn't every club have a carrying capacity? This is exactly the cause of inflation!

This isn't a college or a formal "club." We're more like a Hall of Fame, which is always inducting people as long as they are worthy.

true, very true.

2080
Physics...ugh

1.) It got a 1910 on the SAT, 550 in writing.

2.) 3.75 GPA, with at least four C's. Geometry, Spanish, Algebra II, Biology. Too many B's to list.

3.) I never took/will take any AP tests.

4.) My highest award is winning an intrascholastic card house building contest.

5.) I have failed a social studies test. I have taken a bio test over a week late, after school ended. I never saw the grade on it but I got a C in the class.

... and I still got in to all the schools I applied to: RPI, WPI, and Rose-Hulman, all with scholarships.

Hurray!

why is Hepstar the only admissions officer for the average club? Just wondering.

"why is Hepstar the only admissions officer for the average club? Just wondering."

I created the club, so deal with it!

Just kidding.

I just think it is easier if there is one person making the choices. It would get kind of crazy if I had to wait for a bunch of other people to post their opinions about a prospective member.

Maybe there should be a "Average" Club Congress or something that can override some of my decisions.

sounds good to me lol. :)
