"What are your other stats? If they are "average" enough, you might qualify. I decided to be a bit more subjective with admission into the "average" club."

SAT: 1970

Never have had straight A's in a semester...ever. Once got 5 A's one B...the closest yet! The only B for me this semester is Calc BC too! (only one percent on my final away from an A...but I wont get into that)

One 5..ah! One 3.

Definitely NOT nationally ranked.

Failed lotsa tests...including Calc...yay!

1.) You must have an SAT score of less than 2100 and/or an ACT score of less than 31.
31
2.) You have to have at least one class in which you have a B or lower. For me it is BC Calculus. No straight A students are allowed.
Spanish 3, i goddamn hate that class

3.) You cannot have a 5 on any AP test.
US history 3
4.) You cannot be nationally ranked in anything, whether it be sports or academics.
nope, just state level
5.) You must have failed a test (not a quiz) at some point in your high school career.
yea, my biology pop quiz
If you want to join, just post your SAT and/or ACT scores and the class that you have a B or lower in. Let's go average people!

Betterday55, your "qualifications" are kind of shaky. You have a 31 ACT and the only test you could think of that you failed was a bio pop quiz. Unless you failed some more tests, I don' think you're "average."

Isn't that a good thing? In this thread, we don't have to deal with the horde of CCers who complain about not getting 2300+ on the SAT. The closest these people ever came to Bs and Cs was when they had to say the alphabet in kindergarden. Although many of these people will matriculate at top colleges and have bright futures, many of them just don't know when to chill out.

This thread represents the people who don't fit the typical CCer mold. We don't score in the top 2% on national tests. We aren't nationally ranked in anything. We have our share of Bs and Cs. We even fail some tests. Although most of us aren't "average" by definition, we know that we're human.

You guys don't fit the CC stereotype, but I would think that lots of CCers are like you guys. I've seen threads asking about getting Fs on your report card, threads asking if a poster has a shot at Cal State __, etc. You need to look past the annoying chances threads and you see CC has a bunch of normal people.

Betterday55, many of your comments make you sound "average" so I'll let you in. What the hell. It isn't like you have ridiculously high test scores anyway.

Aren't you nationally ranked in something? I think you posted before. You took the ACT in 8th grade didn’t you? I don’t think I can count an ACT score below 31 taken as an 8th grader. As for you Frosh PSAT score, almost all Frosh get below 200 on the PSAT. The Val of my school scored below a 200 as a Freshman. On his one and only SAT, he scored a very “above average” 2280 (1560 out of 1600). He probably would have cracked the 2300 mark if he didn’t get an 8 on the essay. So he is definitely not average. Just because you didn’t break 200 as a Frosh doesn’t mean you qualify. It’s not like it’s the end of the world if you don’t qualify. If you took the ACT in 8th grade and are nationally ranked in something, it is highly unlikely that not being in the “average” people club will have a negative effect on you.
